Your main job is to keep workers safe. You will check the workplace to prevent accidents and make sure everyone follows safety rules (Health, Safety, and Environment – HSE).

Check Safety: Look at the workplace every day to find any dangers.
Give Training: Teach workers how to stay safe and use safety tools.
Follow Rules: Make sure the company follows local and international safety laws.
Create Programs: Help the team write and start new safety plans.
Write Reports: Record any accidents or safety problems and explain how to fix them.
3 years of experience in safety or oil/gas/pipelines.
Fresh Graduates: Can be accepted if they have high technical skills and the right certificates.
Speaking: Can explain safety rules clearly to workers.
Writing: Can write simple reports about safety.
Observation: Can see a danger before it causes an accident.
Helpful: Ready to help workers and answer their questions.
Focus: Professional safety management and hazard control.
Focus: Basic safety skills for supervisors and managers.
Focus: Checking and auditing company safety systems to international standards.
Focus: Any similar recognized training in Fire Safety, Occupational Health, or Environmental compliance.
Safety Rules Knowledge: You must know the local and international laws for safety (HSE).
Hazard Identification: You must be able to see a danger (risk) at work before an accident happens.
Giving Training: You must be able to teach workers "hands-on" how to stay safe.
Program Support: You must know how to help develop and start new health and safety plans.
Industry Experience: You should have 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Pipelines, or Power plants.
Technical Writing: You must be able to write simple and clear safety reports.
Audit Skills: Knowing how to check the company’s safety system (like an ISO 45001 Auditor).
Technical Certifications: Holding a NEBOSH or IOSH certificate makes you a much stronger candidate.
Chemical Knowledge: If you have a Chemical Engineering degree, knowing how to handle dangerous chemicals safely.
Specialized Safety: Knowledge of Fire Safety systems or Marine/Pipeline safety.
Problem Solving: Being able to find a quick and safe way to fix a dangerous situation.
Safety Engineering: Focus on designing safe systems and equipment.
Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S): Focus on worker health and workplace safety rules.
Fire Safety Engineering: Focus on preventing and managing fire risks.
Environmental Engineering: Focus on protecting the environment and managing waste.
Chemical Engineering: Focus on handling chemicals and industrial processes safely.
Other Engineering Majors: (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, etc.) ONLY IF you have previous work experience in safety.
